About Peikko
Peikko is a global supplier of concrete connections and composite structures for the construction industry. At Peikko Romania, efficient transport coordination is critical. When the company adopted GoRamp, Liviu Pirciu, Transport Planner, was tasked with implementing the system locally—despite never having used a time slot management tool before.

The implementation process was smooth and well-structured. It took about one month to set up GoRamp internally and configure it to meet Peikko Romania’s needs. Full carrier onboarding took another three to four months, with Liviu personally guiding many partners through the system.
Despite some initial resistance, most carriers adapted quickly once they realized how much easier the platform made scheduling and communication.
With GoRamp integrated into gate operations, the team gained real-time updates on truck movements, significantly reducing delays and confusion. The shift from reactive to proactive planning freed up valuable time for Liviu and his colleagues.

Future Outlook
Liviu sees even more opportunities to build on the success of GoRamp at Peikko Romania. He’s currently exploring:
- Mandatory booking fields to ensure compliance with Romanian transport regulations
- GPS tracking for full truckloads
- Potential integration with on-site security cameras to improve dock monitoring
- A mobile-friendly version of GoRamp to increase accessibility for suppliers
Although GoRamp currently prioritizes a lightweight, web-based system for ease of maintenance, feedback like Liviu’s is shaping future development plans.
